Our 4th graders stepped back in time with a trip to Old World Wisconsin in Eagle! Students experienced history firsthand as they explored what life was like for Wisconsin’s early settlers. They visited a General Store, Cobbler Shop, and Blacksmith, and toured historic homes and a hotel to learn about traditional trades and daily life. One of the biggest surprises of the day? Discovering just how many chores and responsibilities children had back then!

4th Grade Visits Old World Wisconsin

The programs we did at Old World Wisconsin were "Apprentice" and "Global Kitchens." We got to see how people in the 1800s cooked in their kitchens and shopped & bartered at the General Store. Students also got to explore and interact at the blacksmith, shoe maker shop, and learned how wagons were made and used for farming!
